Flare Outdoor Fireplaces come in three modern looks, providing options for every home. When you order a Flare Outdoor Fireplace you choose the shape that suits your space and your preferred design aesthetic. There are three modern shapes to choose from: The curved Tuscany, the straight up Phoenix and the angled Boston.
Select Your Size
Flare Outdoor Fireplaces come in two sizes, big and really big. The Signature Series has a big firebox that fits any space. The Elite Series has a really big firebox designed for large spaces. Both fireboxes pump out the heat, provide ample cooking area and are a joy to sit around.
Pick Your Finish
The Standard Finish: Our Standard Finish is a cement based render that is applied paper-thin to cover any air-bubbles and it provides a modern look with clean lines. It preserves the natural look of concrete. It weathers really well and actually moves with the concrete as it cures. It doesn’t hide the natural hairline cracks that occur with concrete, but it does keep them looking minimal and it also doesn’t bubble as some plasters tend to do under heat. When customers choose The Standard Finish they tend to leave their fireplace as is, whilst others plan to add a veneer or stone post-install to suit their house or surroundings.
The Hammergrind: The Hammergrind exposes the stone in the concrete, providing a textured look that is pleasantly imperfect to the eyes and to the touch. In addition to the beauty of this textured look it has the added benefit of hiding the natural cracking that occurs in concrete. If requested, The Hammer Grind is applied to just the face of your firebox and chimney at no extra cost. Additional surfaces may be added and quoted on order. One of the main advantages of The Hammer Grind is that is barely needs any maintenance and keeps a fresh look no matter how much it’s used.
Configure Your Woodboxes
Once you’ve chosen a firebox, you can configure the woodboxes to suit your needs.
Flare’s large range of configuration options allow you to have a fireplace that takes up no more room than a grill/BBQ — or one that fills the grandest of spaces.
You can choose the height of your fireplace to maximise the way the it looks in your space and how you’ll engage around the fire.
Some people just have a preferred aesthetic they are trying to achieve and Flare’s modularity allows options for every design preference.
Add a Woodbox Polish
Having the tops of the woodboxes polished is a fantastic way to create a beautiful contrast and a clean working surface. Unless ordered your fireplace will come with The Standard Finish applied to the woodboxes. There are two polish options:
Modern Polish: A light polish of the tops and front edge of the woodboxes with natural imperfections included.
Traditional Polish: A deep polish of the tops and front edge of the woodboxes with natural imperfections removed.
