A roast turning over glowing embers. Friends gathered around. And you, enjoying the afternoon with them.

Watch Mike demonstrate why the rotisserie is one of our favourite ways to cook.

Your rotisserie questions, answered

Thinking about adding one to your fireplace? Here’s what you need to know.

Does it fit on the swing frame?
Yes. The swing frame is the main way people use our rotisserie, and each swing frame can accommodate two. The rotisseries run from front to back, making them well suited to roasts and chickens.

What comes with it?
The rotisserie comes with the front and rear mounting brackets. The swing frame is separate.

Can I add it later?
Absolutely. You don’t have to choose every cooking accessory when you buy your fireplace. The rotisserie can be added later—whether you’re ready to try something new or looking for a gift for someone who loves cooking over fire.

Does it need a power connection?
No. The motor runs on four AA batteries, so there’s no power cable to run to your fireplace. Mike has cooked multiple meals over several evenings on the same batteries, although battery life will vary with use.

How is the motor protected from the heat?
The brackets support the rotisserie and help protect the motor. The rear bracket holds the rod, while the front bracket acts as a heat guard.

Is there a full-width rotisserie for larger animals?
Not currently. Our existing rotisseries run from front to back. A larger design is something we’re working on, but it isn’t currently available.

How much meat can it carry?
In the video, Mike cooks a lamb roast and a chicken together on one rotisserie. For a particular load or cooking setup, contact our team to confirm the current specifications.
